A well-cut rosé Champagne, with a crisp, lacy feel to the mousse, which carries flavors of dried raspberry, blood orange peel and toasted raisin bread, plus hints of saffron, crystallized honey and fleur de sel. Long and mouthwatering, with a push of chalky minerality on the finish. Drink now through 2040.

To be released commercially in 2026. Blend of 44% Chardonnay and 56% Pinot Noir in total (including 11% red wine). (In the mid 1990s it was 15–18% then in the mid 2000s, as a result of the focus Richard Geoffroy was putting on Dom P rosé, it reached 28% but has been reduced since then.) They invested in a new winery in 2006–2008 with very small vats and burgundy-style pigeage for the reds. They started a programme to re-select red wines for Dom P and the wine now comes from 30 or so hectares in Hautvillers, Aÿ and Bouzy. They've been busy identifying the best plots, best clones and best raw material so this 2010 is the result of long research.
Stunning. So rich and complex on the nose! With almonds, burgundy flavours and strong Pinot Noir character on the nose. Really exciting! No shortage of structure. It seems so rich that it kids you there is some sweetness but the dosage was less than 5 g/l. Food wine. Should be great with tonight's langoustines! Long and savoury on the end. If grand cru rosé burgundy existed, this is what it would taste like.

Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010 conveys a feeling of self-confidence, refinement, elegance, and majesty. The Vintage incarnates the tension between light and darkness.
A radical exploration
The creative ambition of Dom Pérignon is a perpetual quest for harmony as a source of emotion. Dom Pérignon Rosé was born to push the limits of this ambition. It expresses this desire to explore the edge, spreading out the raw power of the red of the pinot noir grape in an assemblage of vibrant harmony.
After a slow, masterful transformation during nearly 15 years in the cellar, Dom Pérignon Rosé incarnates the tension between light and darkness. It embodies dedication to creation as a radical exploration of new possibilities.
Nose & palate
Intensity and precision
The wine is surprising, less powerful than expected. That is, this power is also displaying lightness. It is strikingly intense, precise. Also delicate, dense and silky. Everything seems to be integrated within it, like reconciled, a mastery of opposites. The obvious coherence of its flesh fills the mouth with an impression of suspended, spherical presence, which is deploying and amplifying: it relaunches itself within the duration of the tasting, stretching out the movement of the wine. Its personality leaves a feeling of poise and self-confidence. It has a refined and distinguished aesthetic, which unfurls in an elegant and majestic manner.
Food & wine pairing
Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010 conveys a feeling of self-confidence, refinement, elegance, and majesty. The combination of iodine and vegetable products, weever fish, sea urchins, turnip greens, sumac or artichoke, is perfect to feel the duality of the wine, to bring out the aromatic nuances of the wine. Ingredients like sea Urchins, pork belly, kale or chilli pepper will reveal the lines of the wine: its acidity and tannic structure, hidden behind its fruit.
