Deep dark red with a black core. Fragrant and lifted with notes of blueberry, plum, violets, Indian ink and vanilla bean. Lovely weight and density across the palate. Lots of intensity of fruit yet shows great restraint and balance. Lifted notes of ripe blueberry, fresh plum with a violet floral overlay and hints of sweet lifted vanilla bean. Round and smooth through the mid-palate with a glycerol, satiny feel. Finishes with excellent length and persistence.
