Two Hands Dave's Block Shiraz 2019 750ml

The 2019 Dave’s Block Shiraz comes from a special old vineyard in Blewitt Springs, perched on cool, sandy soils that give the wine a fresh, spicy lift. You’ll find mentholated cherry notes on the nose and a medium to full body with crisp acidity and nicely textured tannins. It’s a bit more restrained than some past vintages but still a solid, age-worthy McLaren Vale Shiraz with plenty of character.

Lightly mentholated cherries appear on the nose of the 2019 Shiraz Dave's Block Blythmans Road Blewitt Springs. It's an attractive, medium to full-bodied wine whose modest tannins are accentuated on the finish by the acidity, giving it a crisp, slightly astringent feel. It lacks the excitement of the 2018 or 2016 but remains a solid effort that should age well.
