M de Moulin Richie Saint-Julien 2018 750ml

A bold, savory second wine from Château Moulin Riche, the 2018 vintage blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot for a juicy, spice-laced profile. James Suckling praises its dark fruit, ink, and succulent texture with a 92-point score. Approachable now, but structured enough to hold for a few more years. Great value from the prestigious Saint-Julien appellation.

Plenty of spice, dark fruit and ink on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with round tannins and a juicy finish. Savory, too. Succulent. New second wine from Moulin Riche. Blend of 48% cabernet sauvignon, 29% merlot and 23% petit verdot. Drink or hold.

Composed of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 23% Petit Verdot, the 2018 M de Moulin Riche has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and notes of crushed blackberries and redcurrants with hints of tar, dried Mediterranean herbs and licorice. The medium-bodied palate has a chewy, rugged textured and just enough freshness to support the herbs-laced red and black fruits, finishing just a tad firm.
