Mid crimson purple. The bouquet is exceptionally classy, showing the finesse of this end of the appellation. Raspberry and ripe redcurrant, beautifully stylish, with just enough generosity of fruit. Wines made with a very fine touch here. The fruit expands towards the back of the palate, retaining its quintessential refinement, into a long finish with perfect balancing acidity and very gentle tannins.

Les Grands Epenots occupy a central and privileged position in the heart of the area.
South-southeast exposure, shallow stony soils on a draining slope, give it a stature that many consider to be that of a grand cru.
Powerful, mellow, opulent, this wine knows how to be splendid. Complex and liquorice aromas share the bouquet with vanilla or grilled nuances.
The Grands Epenots vineyard was acquired at the very beginning of the 19th century. Shared several times between families, it is attached to the Clos de Cîteaux.
This magnificent Tête de Cuvée offers us wines renowned for their finesse, their mellowness, and their great breed.
