Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure Pommard Clos des Charmots Premier Cru 2022 750ml
From old vines planted in 1901 and 1925, this Premier Cru Pommard offers a refined and structured expression of Pinot Noir. The nose reveals blackberry, violet, sweet spice, and earthy loam, with subtle notes of baked chocolate and stony minerality. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, combining concentration with finesse. Powdery tannins frame a core of ripe red and dark fruit, supported by fresh acidity and a distinct saline, mineral-driven finish. Elegant yet built for ageing, this Clos des Charmots shows both depth and precision, with excellent cellaring potential over the next decade and beyond.

Slightly lighter in colour, while the soft strawberry fruit is much more expansive. The oak shows a little. Not the densest of Pommards but one with an attractive fruit profile. Perhaps a little shorter at the finish but with finesse. The vines date back to 1901 and 1925.
