Château Talbot 2025 is a classic Saint-Julien that combines elegance, structure, and ageing potential. Crafted from 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot, it offers expressive aromas of cassis, dark cherries, violet, and spice, leading to a palate of ripe dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and fresh acidity. Balanced and persistent, this En Primeur release reflects the hallmark style of Château Talbot—approachable in its youth yet built to evolve beautifully over the coming decades.

This is juicy and incisive, with expressive dark fruit and fine-grained, almost grainy tannins. A savory quality in the long finish. Persistent and cohesive.

Bright and harmonious, the 2025 Talbot wafts from the glass with aromas of mulberries, violet, cassis, dark cherries and spice, framed by well-integrated oak. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s concentrated and dense, built around a massive core of fruit framed by structured, youthful tannins and concludes with a somewhat firm, gently bitter finish. It's a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 9% Petit Verdot.

It’s true, Talbot is a champion of longevity, which doesn’t prevent it from being amiable and round even in its earliest youth, always marked by silky, smooth, very civilized tannins. Talbot is outgoing by nature, never inward-looking. It’s a racy wine, with complex notes of Havana and licorice, deliciously classic without the slightest hint of austerity.
