Chateau Montviel Pomerol 2012 1500ml
Château Montviel 2012 is a fleshy and succulent Saint-Émilion, offering rich flavors of dark fig, boysenberry, and blueberry, layered with subtle hints of charcoal, licorice, and incense. Medium to full-bodied, dense, and ripe, it shows excellent concentration and aging potential.

Fleshy and succulent, with dark fig, boysenberry and blueberry paste flavors melded together and backed by notes of charcoal, licorice snap and incense. Shows solid range and character.

Drink: 2018-2033
From a stable of vineyards owned by the late and dynamic Madame Péré-Vergé, the 2012 Montviel has an opaque purple color. One of the best ever from this estate, this wine has an extra level of concentration and richness. It is dense, medium to full-bodied, ripe, rich, not terribly complex as of yet, but exhibiting plenty of promise and potential. Forget it for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 15 or more.

Very attractive fruit with plums and dark chocolate. Medium body, with silky tannins and a medium finish. Might prove better than my marks.

Nose: amazing nose. vanilla and sweet strawberry on the nose along with a lot of floral characteristics.
