Bodega Garzon Petit Clos Tannat 2022 750ml
A distinctive expression of Uruguayan Tannat from a carefully selected vineyard block. The 2022 shows intense aromas of black plum and blackberry with subtle integrated oak. The palate is fresh and full-bodied, combining polished tannins with mineral character and vibrant acidity, leading to a long, savoury finish. The wine was fermented in 80hl cement tanks and aged for 12 months on lees in French oak.

Blueberries and blackberries with some violets, tangerines and crushed stone on the nose. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. There’s a firmness and creaminess in the texture. Precise and pure. A little punchy at the end. Drink now or hold.

Smooth and tasty, this Tannat offers a nose of dark fruit and spices. It shows depth on the palate, bringing a dash of cassis and licorice framed by plush tannins and good acidity. The wine's solid structure suggests it will continue to delight through 2032. — Jesica Vargas
