From the respected Famille J-M Cazes comes this 50/50 Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend with 10% fermented in oak. Typical Sauvignon freshness tempers the ripe pear fruit flavours on the palate, with white flower aromas adding further interest. Slightly salty aftertaste. Plenty of subtle intrigue at a very fair price.

Nice elderflower, peach and gooseberry flavour. A very faint note of leather. It is smooth but the acidity is not really balanced too well. Slight bitterness of citric zest.
Bottled for us by the renowned Bordeaux family, JM Cazes, the 2013 vintage of our white Graves is a particularly fine one. The warmth of the year is evident in the ripe peach and melon aromas on the nose. On the palate, the fruit is unusually rounded and complete. Here, preserved lemon gives way to riper, tropical fruit flavours, but the finish is as bone dry and refreshing as ever. This clean, crisp wine can be enjoyed on its own, with seafood and even with richer chicken dishes.
