Baron De Brane Margaux 2018 750ml
Baron de Brane Margaux 2018 is the elegant second wine of the renowned Château Brane-Cantenac, offering a refined introduction to one of Margaux's most respected estates. Produced from carefully selected vineyard parcels, this Bordeaux red combines the appellation's signature floral elegance with vibrant fruit and polished tannins, making it enjoyable earlier than the Grand Vin while retaining excellent ageing potential.
The 2018 vintage reveals expressive aromas of ripe strawberries, red currants, cassis, cedar, and subtle spice, layered with delicate floral notes characteristic of Margaux. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, featuring concentrated berry fruit, refined tannins, and fresh acidity that bring both structure and balance. A touch of oak adds complexity without overpowering the fruit, leading to a long, elegant finish with impressive depth.

Tight and polished with a beautiful center palate and density. Full-bodied, ripe and polished. Really delicious fruit to this. Strawberries and currants abound. Wonderful second wine of Brane.

Powerful tannin, with a bite that is pretty ferocious. There are good fruits underneath, with deep cassis and bilberry notes. Good-quality but broad-shouldered.
