Zinfandel
Zinfandel is a bold, expressive red grape best known for its deep roots in California, where it produces everything from rich, fruit-forward reds to elegant old-vine wines. It typically shows flavours of ripe blackberry, raspberry, plum and dark cherry, often complemented by spice, pepper and subtle smoky notes. Zinfandel is naturally generous and full-bodied, with ripe tannins and moderate acidity, and can develop impressive complexity with age.
