Hauts de Pontet Pauillac 2006 750ml
The 2006 Les Hauts de Pontet-Canet, the second wine of Château Pontet-Canet, is a well-structured Pauillac blend crafted from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It showcases a deep color and a complex nose featuring blackberry, licorice, and cedar. On the palate, it offers a classic Pauillac structure with smooth tannins and a long, savory finish.

A colour that’s got great hold. A nose of red fruits and spices with a hint of graphite. On the palate, the wine is very round with a structure of great finesse. Good length and great aromatic persistence with hints of gingerbread on the finish.

Deep ruby in the glass with garnet hues. Ripe, juicy nose still fruit-driven, but complemented nicely with some tobacco, forest leaves, mocha.
