New York fashion, the stylish, functional pieces can be repurposed for all types of wine, making them something of a 'little black dress' for the dinner table. Though the two decanters share the same basic shape, the RIEDEL Apple NY and RIEDEL Big Apple differ in size, crystal weight, and purpose. Machine blown from lead free crystal, the smaller RIEDEL Apple NY decanter stands just over 7-1/2 inches tall with a capacity of 1.5 liters, making it perfect for decanting a standard 750 ml bottle of wine. To accommodate larger format bottles of wine, namely 1.5 liter magnum bottles most often poured in restaurants, Riedel also created the RIEDEL Big Apple decanter from machine blown crystal.
