Berry Bros. & Rudd Sancerre by Domaine J. Sautereau Crezancy 2020 750ml
Crafted by 10th-generation winemaker David Sautereau in the village of Crézancy, this Sancerre is a pristine expression of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. The 2020 vintage offers a perfect balance of ripeness and freshness, with vibrant notes of gooseberry, pink grapefruit, and a hint of cut grass. Elegant and mineral-driven, it’s a mouthwatering, food-friendly white—ideal with seafood or crottin de Chavignol. A true benchmark Sancerre.

We are delighted to work with 10th-generation vigneron David Sautereau for our Sancerre. Based in the village of Crézancy, David makes an exceptionally pure and fruity style of this classic French Sauvignon Blanc.
This is a wine with beautiful, mouthwatering acidity and fresh fruit flavours, a truly classic food wine. It pairs particularly well with fresh seafood or the local crottin de Chavignol goat’s cheese.
Tasting note
The 2020 vintage in the Loire was one of the earliest on record, the warm and dry conditions giving concentrated wines with both weight and freshness. David has crafted a complex and mineral wine with notes of gooseberry, cut grass and pink grapefruit. This is a benchmark example of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Drink 2022 - 2025
