RIEDEL Crystal, the 300 year-old global leader in varietal-specific glassware, announces the newest design in RIEDEL's growing line of stunning mouth-blown decanters, the Superleggero Decanter. Designed to complement RIEDEL Crystal's Superleggero Series, an all-new collection of varietal-specific glassware mouth-blown to an unparalleled thinness and height, the Superleggero Decanter is similarly mouth-blown into a tall, slender shape. 

Built with a bulbous base, the decanter's bowl-shape design narrows into a slim, long neck fastened with a one-of-a-kind circular necktie seal engraved with RIEDEL's trademark script signature, making this unique design the newest RIEDEL Collector's Item. For ease in pouring, the decanter is outfitted with a special recess, or punt, in its base for more convenient handling as well as a sharp, angular opening at its top for pouring wine. Like all of RIEDEL mouth-blown crystal decanters, the Superleggero Decanter is formed freely by hand without the help of any molds by RIEDEL's master glassblowers.

Bottle Cleaner: Not recommended according to Riedel's current specification, despite the product-care description mentioning Bottle Cleaner. For this tall and delicate handmade form, gentle handwashing is the safer approach.

Suitable for: Red wines, white wines, mature wines, young wines and sophisticated wine presentation. Particularly suited to collectors and formal wine service where an elegant, minimalist silhouette is desired.
