The 2018 Albarino Reserva (bottled in July 2018) is unoaked and comes in at 14% alcohol. This is solid in its youth and expressive. Showing fine flavor and a very tasty finish, it nonetheless finishes dry and fresh. There's not a lot of concentration or power, though. Even in its youth, it is very understated. Drink this very young for best results. At the moment, you might like it better than the score suggests, but that will not remain true for all that long if you age this.
Drink Date: 2018 - 2020

Of a very elegant pale yellow this Albarino has a fresh and vibrant nose that reminds us of tropical fruit with subtle citrus and floral notes. In the mouth, we find a round and fresh body with a saline and mineral combination that provide a marked notion of terroir.

Aging: 20% 3 to 6 months in untoasted French oak barrels
