This shows blueberries and blackberries with some mint undertones. Medium to full body and chewy tannins. Lots of focused and delicious dark fruit here. Try in 2020.

The 2016 Le Stanze del Poliziano is Cabernet Sauvignon with a small component of Merlot blended in for extra softness. This is a well-assembled wine that shows careful precision and focus, while keeping its full-bodied appeal and concentrated richness in check. The wine opens to dark blackberry and plum with some savory spice, cedar wood and toasted mahogany. Le Stanze is ripe, savory and ready for a romantic evening by the fire as the snowflakes fall beyond a foggy window pane.
