Nose of blackberries and dusty spice, with smoky tea leaves, red fruit strap, red peppercorn, potpourri and pencil shavings. Fruit tannins are round and ripe. Intense purple fruit, violets, sugar plum, aniseed, graphite, gravel and a savoury, olive brine finish. Impressive persistence, polished tannins and fine acid provide pleasure and character.
