Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 750ml

Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre 2021 is a rich and elegant red from Chile’s Apalta Valley. It features ripe cassis and black currant aromas with hints of grilled spices and roasted red pepper. Medium to full-bodied with firm but fresh tannins, it’s great now but will shine even more after 2024. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats or hearty dishes.

An elegant and pretty complex expression with an array of red and black cherries, grilled spices, tapenade and roasted red pepper. Some firm, nicely chewy tannins on the medium- to full-bodied palate gives a tight structure to the juicy fruit. Dialled back and fresh. Shows the angular tannins from the granitic soils. Drinkable now, but better after 2024.
