Located in three communes of the Margaux Appellation (Soussans, Arsac, Cantenac), the plots that make up the vineyard are composed of Pyrenean gravel with more or less clay depending on the areas.
The grape varieties and rootstocks are adapted to each of these terroirs. In 2012, the introduction of Petit Verdot increased the diversity of grape varieties.
L'Alezan de La Tour de Bessan Margaux 2017 is a red wine produced by Château La Tour de Bessan, situated in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Owned by Marie-Laure Lurton, this estate is part of the Vignobles Marie-Laure Lurton group, which also includes Château de Villegeorge in the Haut-Médoc. The wine is crafted under the expertise of winemaker Jean-Luc Brégille, with consulting from renowned oenologist Eric Boissenot.
