Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky Exceptional Warmth 30Yrs 700ml
A rare and masterful expression, the Highland Park 30 Year Old (2024 Release) captures the true spirit of Orkney — complex, mature, and beautifully aromatic. Crafted from just eight exceptional casks laid down in 1990, 1991, and 1992, this whisky showcases the skill and precision of Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion, who expertly married a selection of European oak, American oak, refill, and ex-bourbon casks to achieve a perfect balance of depth and harmony. Bottled at 46% ABV, it reveals a natural deep copper colour and exquisite warmth. The nose opens with delicate jasmine and lemon-scented geraniums, giving way to notes of peaches soaked in almond liqueur, caramelised lemons, and pink grapefruit on the palate. The finish lingers softly with gentle heathered peat smoke, evoking the wild, windswept beauty of Orkney.

ABV : 46%
To create the 2024 release of our 30-year-old whisky, our Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion selected eight casks laid down in 1990, 1991 and 1992. For our older whiskies, our Master Whisky Makers have fewer casks to work with, demanding all their skill and expertise to create our signature flavour and character through the careful marriage of different cask types. The resulting whisky is complex and mature with a natural deep copper colour and beautiful warmth to it – perfect for special occasions.
Notes:
• Jasmine

The flavour
Orkney at its most aromatic. Jasmine and lemon-scented geraniums on the nose are followed by an intense, nutty sweetness of amaretto poached peaches and caramelised lemons on the palate. The finish lingers with subtle smoke from our Orkney heathered peat.
The craft
This release comes from just eight hand-selected casks: three sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads deliver a hit of aromatic spiciness and citrus notes, while one sherry-seasoned American oak hogshead brings flavours of sweet almond and creamy vanilla. We chose two refill hogsheads and one refill butt to round out the flavours and add fragrant floral notes, alongside a single ex-bourbon barrel, to punch up the tropical coconut aromas.
The stories
Orkney’s got many things to recommend it, from its creative community to its spectacular rockstacks. But it’s also an ideal place for maturing whisky. Thanks to our temperate climate we lose less whisky to the angel’s share than on the mainland—when it comes to rare whiskies like our 30-year-old, that’s most definitely a good thing.
