Henriot Champagne Blanc de Blancs NV 750ml

An elegant 100% Chardonnay Champagne sourced mainly from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte des Blancs. Fresh citrus, green apple, and white peach mingle with notes of chalk, brioche, and roasted hazelnut. The fine mousse and bright acidity give clarity and lift, while reserve wines add depth and roundness. A crisp, balanced Blanc de Blancs with both finesse and cellaring potential. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood and light dishes.

Subtle notions of toast have a lovely tinge of lemon and roasted hazelnut on the nose. Lively mousse on a tender palate bubbles with toasty, nutty autolysis. As it warms up, the mousse softens and shows a sunny roundness of yellow stone fruit that sits well with the toasty yeast notes.

Based on the 2016 vintage, with 32% of vins de réserve, the Henriot NV Blanc de Blancs, disgorged in June 2022 with five grams per liter, reveals an elegant and fresh bouquet with aromas of lemon, peach, spring flowers, spices and pastry. Seamless and vinous, the palate is medium to full-bodied with an elegant mousse and a lively, fresh finish. It is slightly tighter than last year, but this is a well-elaborated Blanc de Blancs that can age for another five years.

The finest blancs de Champagne reveal a remarkable, complex, and luminous style that is distinctive for all vintages.
With more than 2/3 of Cote des Blancs Premier and Grand Crus, it brilliantly encapsulates the elegance of the finest Chardonnay vineyards which are the signature of the Henriot style.
Tasting reveals an exceptionally fresh minerality, enhanced by the significant proportion of reserve wines, with the promise of excellent cellaring potential.
The nose expresses freshness with delicate citrus fruit and white fleshed peach notes. The freshness continues on the palate with great clarity as the lemon hint continues and melts into notes of buttery brioche. Beautiful length and wonderfully rounded in the mouth.
