Duo De Conseillante Pomerol 2013 750ml

The 2013 Duo de Conseillante, the second label from Château La Conseillante in Pomerol, offers a lighter, early-drinking expression of the estate's style. Crafted predominantly from Merlot (95%) with a touch of Cabernet Franc (5%), this wine presents notes of raspberry, coffee bean, and incense, leading to a bright red berry finish. While some critics found it slightly lean, others appreciated its freshness and aromatic complexity. Ideal for pairing with classic meat dishes, it showcases the approachable side of Pomerol wines.

Created in 2007, Duo de Conseillante is produced from two of the vineyard’s sandier plots.
Though less concentrated in profile, this wine displays aromatics and vibrancy comparable to La Conseillante. With an ageing potential of two to ten years, Duo reveals fresh fruit on the nose and a silky mouth-feel enhanced by delicious freshness.
