Chateau Tourans St-Emilion Grand Cru 2010 750ml

This 2010 vintage is a great example of what Saint-Émilion does best—rich, smooth, and seriously satisfying. A Merlot-driven blend with a touch of Cabernet Franc, it’s plush and full-bodied, with ripe blackberries, plums, and hints of spice, mocha, and earthy undertones. The tannins are polished but still have structure, making it ideal for drinking now or holding for a few more years. Classic Right Bank style with the depth and balance you'd expect from such a strong vintage. Definitely a hidden gem if you love bold, silky Bordeaux.

Intense colour. The nose deploys wonderful ripe, slightly jammy fruit with very subtle oak in the background. Full mouthfeel with tightly-wound stuffing. Fruit takes a backseat to a pronounced good quality oak imprint. The tannins are refined yet the finish remains quite firm.
