Chateau Tour Saint Christophe St-Emilion 2011 750ml

This 2011 Saint-Émilion brings some serious presence for the vintage. It’s a classic Merlot-dominant blend with Cabernet Franc, and it shows off with rich, full-bodied character. Think bold layers of dark berries, crushed chalk, and a nice kick of spice—there’s real depth here. James Suckling even likened it to Troplong Mondot, which says a lot about the quality. Still has structure and power, but those tannins are settling in nicely now. Great to open anytime, especially with a decant.

Wow. This is very layered and well done. Reminds me of Troplong Mondot. Full, rich and powerful. Lots of berry, chalk and spice character. Try it in 2017.
