This new cuvée whose vines are situated in the centre of our vineyard in the commune of Castillon-la-Bataille, just a few kilometres from Saint-Emilion, in the magnificent cool, deep clay-limestone soils of the upper slope, displays freshness, tension et density. The Clos du Milieu offers the finest expression of Merlot and gives an elegant, structured wine with good ageing potential.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBlanc du Milieu is the result of a selection from a 1.7 hectare plot of vines made up of the Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties, also situated in the commune of Castillon-la-Bataille.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese two cuvées have been produced with the specific aim of creating wines under the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and the IGP Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique appellations and thus, while they widen the Angelus range of wines, they also contribute to the promotion of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.
