Lightly mentholated cherries appear on the nose of the 2019 Shiraz Dave’s Block Blythmans Road Blewitt Springs. It’s an attractive, medium to full-bodied wine whose modest tannins are accentuated on the finish by the acidity, giving it a crisp, slightly astringent feel. It lacks the excitement of the 2018 or 2016 but remains a solid effort that should age well.
Drink Date 2023 – 2040
