Ways to enjoy La La Land: Outside, preferably with a water view and a boatload of friends. Amazing with anything seafood. Or a big bowl of pasta with basil pesto sauce.
How: Styled after Vermentino from Sardinia? aromatic and slightly richer. Fermented warm at 18?C in stainless steel. A tiny amount of oak staves were added to 70% of the wine to give texture and mouthfeel. Nothing else added as this fruit does all the talking!
Alc: 12.5% pH: 3.30
Acidity: 4.8g/L RS: <2.0g/L
What else? Vegan friendly.
Where: Victoria, Australia
Colour: Straw with some hints of green.
Smells Like: Intensely aromatic. Fresh orchard fruits, citrus zest and a hint of herbs.
Tastes Like: Exciting and mouth-watering. Wine with attitude. Vibrant flavours of tangy lime, pear, nectarines. Dry, textural and very gluggable.
When to drink: Perfect right now, serve chilled
La La Land is an eclectic collection of new generation, adding a breath of fresh air to the sometimes-stuffy world of wine. We value creativity, connectivity and always challenging ?traditional? wine conventions.
La La Land wines are created with grape varieties slightly different to the norm – ones that are well suited to the warm climate of north west Victoria. These wines are flavoursome and generous, made with creative flair and a touch of funk.
