Travelling south from Dijon, the 400 hectares of Gevrey Chambertin mark the start of the great vineyards of Burgundy’s Cote de Nuits. This is a wonderful, traditional Pinot Noir from a fourth generation, family-run, biodynamic estate and comes from the Aux Corvees climat, just behind the family home. We’ve enjoyed it immensely on its youthful fruit but it should show even better with bottle-age.
