This is fresh and clean with citrus and currant character. Medium body, fine tannins, and a delicate finish. A little lean but I like it. Clarity of fruit here. Give it three or four years to soften. Try in 2017.

Chunky cherry and black currant fruit emerge from this medium-bodied, tasty, pure Pauillac. Although there is not a lot of depth, texture, or length, what is it is pleasant. Drink it over the next 7-10 years.

Tasting notes: A deep, dark colour with a ruby hue, the wine has a refined and delicate nose that reveals aromas of jammy, ripe berry fruit, combined with roasted, toasted notes.
Ripe fruit flavours persist on the palate, underpinned by a structure of firm, attractively close-knit tannins, leading into a long finish that lingers on the ripe fruit flavours.
A classic vintage, ready for drinking now.
