Drink: 2014-2022
Deep garnet-purple in color the 2012 Sophie's Garden Shiraz gives an earthy, meaty nose of loam, tree bark and peppered salami encasing a core of blackcurrant cordial and dried plums. Full-bodied and voluptuously fruited on the palate, a crisp line of acid juxtaposes the densely packed fruit and firm, grainy tannins to good effect. It finishes with very good persistence. Drink it now to 2022+.
