Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir 2024 750ml
The 2024 Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Noir is an elegant and refined expression of Martinborough, showcasing balance and purity despite a lighter vintage. Deep ruby with a crimson hue, it opens with aromas of raspberry, blueberry, lavender, and dried herbs, followed by subtle earthy tones of porcini and garrigue. The palate is silky and precise, with red cherry and brambled berry fruit framed by fine, chalky tannins and a saline acidity that lends freshness and poise.

This pinot noir is dense, fruity and balanced, with a charming nose of ripe cherries, dark chocolate and preserved plums. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, a velvety texture and more fruit character. Flavorful with a bright finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Perfumed with red cherry, damson plum and dried herbs plus subtle floral and earth notes; there’s a lovely savoury undercurrent that runs through both the nose and palate. Silky textured with balanced acidity and fine, silty tannins. This is very youthful, sweet-fruited and juicy, but the balance and layered texture suggest more good things to come. Always a good buy.

Tasting Notes
Burgundy in colour with a light crimson hue. Dried lavender and garigue, distinctly Te Muna perfume on the nose. An elegant palate with a warm core of brambled wild berries, porcini mushroom and red cherry in balance with the silk-laden tannins, which perfectly frame the wine. It speaks volumes to an incredible site.
