Based on about 70% Auxerrois and 30% Pinot Blanc from purchased grapes from all over Alsace and fermented in stainless steel, Trimbach's 2022 Pinot Blanc shows perfectly ripe and elegant fruit on the intensely aromatic yet also coolish nose. Lush and lively on the palate, this wine has a ripe and intense fruit core and is kept in tension by ripe, typical Alsatian acidity. The finish is quite intense and stimulating grippy, which makes it an easy-drinking but serious wine for many occasions. 200,000 bottles produced. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024.
