Dried flowers, dusty chalk, hazelnuts, hints of licorice, white pepper, dried apples and dried pineapples on the nose, with underlying Meyer lemon character. Sleek and elegant, with very fine bubbles and a zesty and vibrant finish. 50% each chardonnay and pinot noir from the six founding crus. 5g/L dosage. Disgorged November 2022. Drink or hold.

This iteration of what used to be called Enchanteleur is a blend of equal parts of Chardonnay from Avize, Le Mesnil and Chouilly, along with Pinot Noir from Mailly, Verzy and Verzenay. This classic cuvée is immensely youthful despite nearly 14 years on the lees, with fresh notes of pear and nectarine accented with just a suggestion of buttered toast and a hint of smoke. The texture is creamy and elegant, with ample freshness to balance the rich flavours. The wine was disgorged in February 2023 to mark the house's bicentennial and dosed at 4g/L.

    Closure: Natural Cork
    Alcohol: 12.50%
    Body: Medium
    Oak: Unoaked
Grapes: 50% Chardonnay 50% Pinot Noir / Pinot Nero

A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, the 2008 Brut Cuvée Hemera has a lively first nose of candied lemon and hints of lime and smoke, with aromas of quince, apple and spring flowers. With aeration, notes of almonds and almond flowers come to the fore. On the palate, there is a nervy tension that energizes its fine, crystalline texture. This is an upright and elegant Champagne with a mouthwateringly long, airy finish. After some time in the glass, it evolves toward notes of smoke, flint, chalk and vanilla. It will drink at its peak in three years.

About to be released. A classic year with typical weather and 'perfect parameters' according to chef de cave Alice Tétienne. Dosage 5 g/l (Brut no longer appears on the front label). Disgorged November 2022.
Discreet nose, lovely tight-knit texture and lots of energy. Chiselled and not nearly at peak but with a really long and interesting aftertaste.

In 1808, when Apolline Henriot founded Maison Henriot, her vineyards were located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims in the crus of Verzy, Verzenay and Mailly-Champagne. In 1880, thanks to the marriage of Paul Henriot (4th generation of the family) and Marie Marguet, a young girl from the Côte des Blancs, three more crus have joined the Henriot vineyards: Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Chouilly. As a tribute to these six historic crus, considered to be the founders of the Henriot vineyard, Maison Henriot decided to create a Champagne now called Henriot Hemera.

Henriot Cuvée Hemera is a blend of the six founding crus, with each represented in equal part, through a singular year, that makes it a Millésime. Each Vintage of this Champagne is a continuation of the Maison Henriot historical terroirs, where the character of the year is revealed. The terroirs offer a base, a structure, a charisma. The year offers intensity, a division of roles, an expression, a translation, a hierarchy.

2008 is a perfect representation of a classic year in Champagne. Indeed, the climate has been uncertain and cool throughout
winter, spring and summer seasons, but the providential return of the sun took place as the harvest approached. Therefore,
the typical conditions of the northern region of Champagne have met for a great year.
