The 2020 Domaine Pierre & Marianne Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin is a refined, medium-bodied Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. It offers aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, and a hint of orange zest, with fine tannins and a fresh, saline finish. The wine has good concentration, structure, and length, making it an excellent expression of Gevrey-Chambertin, best enjoyed from 2023 to 2032.

New in 2020, made from purchased grapes on the Brochon side, a light covering of fine clay on limestone scree. No whole bunch in this first vintage. Dark purple with some power. Weighty dark fruit. Dark strawberry with prominent acidity to finish, not quite in balance for me today as there is a light volatility which may well be cleaned up later.
