A refined and expressive Gevrey-Chambertin that captures the classic elegance of the appellation. The 2021 “Ma Cuvée” offers vibrant red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry aromas layered with subtle floral notes, gentle spice and a touch of earth. On the palate it is fresh and precise, with silky tannins, bright acidity and a fine mineral backbone leading to a long, poised finish. A beautifully balanced Burgundy that is approachable now yet capable of developing further complexity with short to mid-term cellaring.

Winemaker

This wine comes from vineyards mostly towards the east of Gevrey, on the alluvial fan of the Combe de Lavaux. The soil here is stony and well-drained, giving a wine of finesse and pleasure. There is plenty of seductive, creamy red berry fruit and a silken texture. Made with 40% whole bunches and aged in 10 to 15% new oak barrels.
