Crisp acidity supports this fine Blanchot. There is plenty of character on display here from this cooler, east-facing site. Lots of spice on the palate, with attractive zesty orange marmalade notes. An elegant, refined and focussed grand cru which will age very well for up to 10 years.

Pale yellow in the color. Well restrained aromas of lemon and peer with concentrated and firm body. Honey, straw, green fruits and mineral on palate. Dry in the end with extremely long finish. What a great effort from a normal vintage, although the flavor is not special but the structure was built in a perfect shape.
