Leeuwin Estate Siblings Sauvignon Blanc 2023 750ml

Super fresh and vibrant, this Sauv Blanc from Margaret River really delivers. Think zesty grapefruit, lime, and guava layered with floral notes like jasmine and a hint of spice—kind of like cardamom and almond. There’s a cool ocean-breeze vibe on the finish, with salty acidity and great texture (thanks to a bit of old barrel aging). It’s bright, crisp, and seriously refreshing now, but has the structure to age a bit too.

The 2023 Siblings Sauvignon Blanc leads with a grassy nose, laden with pineapple, guava, cassis, green apples and gooseberry. In the mouth, the wine is typically fleshy and crunchy, making for satisfying drinking. It's more complex than the asking price would suggest, and from memory, we have some time in oak and on lees to thank for this. It's a really nicely framed wine. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Pool party sort of sauvignon that manages to maintain structural integrity with juicy acidity and a soapy rail of phenolics. This well-positioned structural latticework corrals scents of hedgerow, guava, peach and talc nicely. Fun drinking. Drink now. Screw cap.

An inviting and incredibly buoyant palate bursts with energy and fruit concentration. A myriad of lime zest, citrus, lemon sherbet and lychees offer direction, and combined with laced acidity, create the corridor with gentle layers on the mid-palate. The lingering finish is encased with delicate textures.
Vibrancy and vitality are the hallmarks here. Lemon meets lime and guava while quince sits alongside. Lemon myrtle, Wattyl and cardamom pod provide lift and perfume. Delicate layers of almond and a touch a cedar offer beautiful complexity.
