The 2014 Amarone della Valpolicella Vigna Garzon (a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina and other local grapes) is slightly subdued in this vintage with wild berry aromas and dried cherry followed by baking spice, tar, licorice and campfire ash. The wine is succulent and rich with a shorter finish compared to other vintages. Some 16,500 bottles were made.
