Subtle and complex aromas of sweet berries, rose stems and lavender with some sandalwood. Medium-to full-bodied with beautiful depth of fruit, creamy tannins and lots of chocolate and berry character. Yet, it'stight at the end, showing beautiful depth and length. So structured. Try after 2027.

A lovely example of Margaux which balances floral notes with herbal characters and intense black fruit flavours. Great concentration and balance of power and finesse. The tannins are so glossy and polished. Cassis liqueur more than blackcurrant juice on the palate with a smoothness and sumptuousness which makes tasting this Rauzan-Ségla a joy. Will age extremely well.

Deep youthful crimson. Intense dark fruit, really dark, like rocks, savoury. Dry, refined tannins. Enough freshness though this is not its main feature, which is dark restraint.

The 2019 vintage charms with its elegant restraint—
as if the winemaker chose to reveal this wine in black and white rather than in color,yet leaving a distinct grain behind.
That grain creates a soft, enveloping atmosphere around the subject, a veil of mystery. A texture that supports the fruit’s long and persistent evolution, enhancing the finish.
There is great classicism here.
And liveliness, too. Aromas of morello cherry, iris, rosemary.
Fresh fig leaves behind an infinite aromatic trace on the palate and that signature texture of great Margaux wines—balanced between power and sophistication. A great Rauzan.
